Massachusetts State Organization
Alpha Upsilon Massachusetts of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was chartered on June 30, 1941. The Founding Members held its first meeting in Springfield, MA. We have a strong history of promoting the professional and personal growth of women educators from all areas of the state. May 2016 marked our 75th birthday! Alpha Upsilon comprises nearly 700 key women educators in 21 chapters who organize programs, community projects, endow scholarships and offer many other educational activities throughout the year and across the state. Our state organization is part of an international organization that honors membership in all 50 United States, Canadian provinces, many European
and Latin American countries and our newest members from Japan.
