Alpha Upsilon Massachusetts of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was chartered on June 30, 1941. The Founding Members held its first meeting in Springfield, MA. We have a strong history of promoting the professional and personal growth of women educators from all areas of the state. May 2021 marked our 80th birthday! MASO comprises nearly 350 key women educators in 12 chapters who organize programs, community projects, endow scholarships and offer many other educational activities throughout the year and across the state. Our state organization is part of an international organization that honors membership in all 50 United States, Canadian provinces, many European
and Latin American countries and members from Japan.
